Create a Contact Us Page on Your Blogger Blog. ~ Fluent SEO

Do you want to receive feedback from your readers? Then, you have to create a Contact Us page on your blog. Contact Us page is not too glamorous, but a very important page of a website. No website should be without a Contact Us or Feedback form.

By a contact us page, you can get close to your visitors. If one of your visitors wants to know something or to give a feedback to you, then he can use it. Your site would be proved as a helpful site to visitors. Thus, you can get more traffics to your site. Here's my Contact Us page. After this tutorial, you can create your own Contact Us page easily in three steps:

Step 1- Create a Contact Us Form:

At first, you have to create your own Contact Us form for your blog. To do this, please follow the instructions given below:

Go to - Google Drive.

Click on CREATE > Form
You will get this page. Here's a screenshot:

Write "Contact Us" or something in the box. And choose one from the sample forms. Then, O.K.
Now, you have to create questions. These questions will be shown in the form. I used only three questions, such as: Name, Email and Comments. You can use another as you wish.

In the box with Question Title: Write - Name. To define question type: click on the drop down arrow just beside "choose from a list". And select - "Text" from the drop down list.
Then, click on the drop down arrow beside - "Add item" and select "choose from a list". In the box with Question Title - Write "Email" and select Question type - Text.
Follow the previous step again for "Comments". But, you have to select: Question Type - "Paragraph Text". Then, Done.
You can see your form by clicking on "View Live Form".
Then, click on "Send Form", then, "Embed".
Copy the code appeared in the code box. Then, done. Don't close the window.

Step 2- Create Contact Us Page on Blogger Blog:

Here's a tutorial about How to Create a New Page on Blogger Blog. To create your own Contact Us page on your blogger blog, please, follow the simple instructions given below:

Go to your Blogger Dashboard > Pages > New Page.
Your post editor page is opened. Select - HTML.
Now, paste the code (which you copied from Google Drive Form page) in the post editor. You can change the width and height if you want.
Click on the "Options" in the right sidebar. Make sure: "Readers Comments - Don't allow". Then, Done. It's only for not to allow the visitors to comment on this page.
Then, publish your page. And view.

Step 3- To Get Notified when Someone Submits a Comment:

Now, it's time to make sure that, you will get a notification through your Email when someone submits a comment. To do this:

Open your Google Drive form page window.
Click on - Response > Change Response Destination.
Now, click on "Create".
Now, open the window of "Google Drive" and click on "Contact Us (Response).
A spreadsheet will open in a new window.
Click on Tools > Notification Rules.

Check the boxes beside "A user submits a form" and "Email Right Away".
Then, Save. And, "Done".

Yes, you did it. You can now navigate to your newly created Contact Us page. Test it yourself by submitting a comment.

Note: You have to put a link to your "Contact Us" page in your menu bar or footer so that, your visitors can easily navigate to this page.
