Apple is relaxing its iPad collection in expectations of claiming back the lost ground in the tablet market and reducing the prices of its Mac computers to heighten the pressure on the famous makers of PCs running Microsoft Windows.

A 64-bit A7 processor is inside the fifth generation iPad which is the same as the one in the iPhone 5S. The tablet is developed especially to run iOS 7, the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system. Apple says that, the performance of the iPad Air is double than that of the earlier versions of iPad. Comparing to the first iPad, the iPad Air has 8x the performance and graphically 72x better. The iPad Air also delivers the M7 motion co-processor that brings data from the device's accelerometer, gyroscope and compass.

The new iPad Air gives the same visual as the iPad mini with an aluminium rear plate curved lightly at the side and a gleaming metallic detail where the rear side meets the bezel. It arrives with the new 'space-gray' back with a black bezel and with a silver back and a white bezel. Apple says that, the iPad Air is twice as fast as the iPad 4 on Wi-Fi networks and it facilitates 801.11 n/g/b/a standard. The 32.4 watt-hour battery is rated at 10 hours. The iPad Air will go on sale globally on Friday, Nov. 1. It includes more supports for LTE networks. There's a new Smart Case as well as which holds the device in pouch. Pricing on the products starts at $39 and $49.
